16 Jul Year 6 Leavers Assembly – 2026
Our Year 6 leavers assembly was a special time when we were able to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our Year 6 pupils. They have been a credit to Parsloes Primary School and we wish them every success at their secondary schools. As part of the leavers assembly we have three achievement cups. The Fred Jones Cup is awarded to a pupil who shows great commitment to Parsloes Primary, who shows our school values at all times and is a great representative for our school. This was awarded to Jaiden in Woodpecker Class. The Parkin Cup is awarded to a pupil who is a great all rounder, has had great academic, sporting and personal successes at Parsloes. This year the cup was awarded to Patrick in Kingfisher Class. We also have our annual Glen Neal cup. The Glen Neal Cup has been awarded for over 30 years. The cup was originally awarded after a pupil who attended the school sadly passed away, after having a life threatening illness. The family wanted the memory of their child to remain and as the child was known for their great kindness and ability to overcome challenge always in a positive manner these are the attributes that are looked for when awarding the cup. This year the Glen Neal Cup was awarded to Dua in Elm Class. We were delighted to be able to celebrate their successes with their families today.
