10 Jul Year 6 – Sports Day
Sports Day was a tremendous success for our Year 6 pupils and a truly memorable event! From the very first race to the final cheer, the children were absolutely outstanding. They demonstrated exceptional behaviour throughout the day, showing respect, encouragement and kindness to one another at every opportunity. The level of sportsmanship on display was incredible: whether they were celebrating a win, supporting a teammate or congratulating others, the children showed maturity, fairness and a fantastic team spirit. Their positive attitudes and enthusiastic encouragement created a wonderful atmosphere that everyone enjoyed.
It was also wonderful to see the children putting into practice the skills they have developed during their PE lessons. They showed determination, resilience and great tenacity in every event, never giving up and always trying their very best. Their effort, focus and perseverance were truly inspiring. Most importantly, the children had an amazing time! They participated with huge smiles, boundless energy and a real sense of pride. Year 6 should be incredibly proud of themselves—they were excellent role models and represented the school brilliantly. What a fantastic group of talented, respectful and hardworking children!
