10 Jul Year 3 – Tombs & Treasures
As part of our Tombs and Treasures unit, Year 3 have planned their very own Egyptian tomb painting. This week, pupils had the opportunity to create their final piece and enhance it using powder paints. They used the features that are common in Egyptian tomb paintings, and applied the same features into their own work, these include: the drawing style, the colours used and the symbolism of the images. After completing their paintings, pupils evaluated their work.
