The Letters and Sounds program is supplemented at Parsloes Primary School by Jolly Phonics rhymes, which are used when introducing the children to new sounds and as a memory aid.
The chart below shows the stages at which phase is generally taught, although school staff are responsive to the needs to each child and move on to the next phase when appropriate.
