19 Jun Year 5 – Our Clockwork Diary Entries
This week in English, Year 5 were writing diary entries from a character’s perspective in the book ‘Clockwork’. We planned our diary entry, thinking about different key events, along with using effective skills to make our diary entries engaging. Lastly, we proofread and edited our work, ensuring our work was fit for purpose- to entertain. Some skills of proofreading include checking for spelling mistakes, ensuring our sentences make sense and reading aloud.
