12 Jun Year 5 – How do gears work?
In Year 5 we have started our final DT unit of the year – gears! Inspired by the story ‘Clockwork’, we have investigated products that use gears and how systems using gears work. We thought about what happens when a smaller gear is paired with a larger gear and how this affects speed and force.
