In English this week, we began our unit of persuasive letter writing with a creative hook. For this lesson we had different scenarios, where we had to persuade one person in our group (the judge) to side with us. Scenarios included ‘We should have an extra five minutes of breaktime everyday’. ‘We should have a swimming pool in school’. We will continue the learn the skills needed to write an effective letter of persuasion next week.
