Year 4 – Science
This term we are exploring living things and their habitats. This week we kicked off our Science learning by sorting animals into groups and identifying, grouping and classifying them. We discovered that all of the animal kingdom can be divided into vertebrates and invertebrates. We then looked at the groups of animals that vertebrates can be further divided into. These groups were fish, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds. We then sorted different images by looking at their characteristics.
