05 Jun Year 4 – Geography
In Geography, we have been learning about the structure of the Earth. We started our lesson by watching some videos showing erupting volcanoes, earthquakes in action and tsunamis. We used an egg to illustrate the Earth’s structure, discussing the crust, the mantle and the core. We talked about how the crust is made of tectonic plates which are moving and are the cause of natural disasters. Finally, we created our own model of the inside of the Earth using plasticine.
