This week the children immersed themselves in our brand-new Science unit. They took a walk around the school to see what types of plants they could find. They were looking out for a range of wild plants including wood sorrel, brambles, stickwort and meadowsweet! Year 1 worked as a team to spot as many types of plant as they could and marked them of on a checklist. Once they had returned to class, the children recalled what they had seen on a whiteboard.
