17 Apr The ARP – Under the Sea
Talk for Writing
LO: To listen with enjoyment to a sensory story.
It was great to see all the children back to school with smiles on their faces.
This term our topic is Under the Sea. We are using the book, Billy’s Bucket, to help us to learn about the creatures found in the sea. The book is centred around a little boy who asks for a bucket for his birthday! Unknown to Billy’s parents, once filled with water, the bucket is magical and allows Billy to watch and observe the different creatures found in the sea. Unfortunately, Billy’s parents do not believe him!
We have started to explore the story with our teachers’ using music, props and small world creatures. Buckets and water have been used too.
