05 Jun Reception – Talk for Writing
Our new topic this half term is Design and Build. On Monday morning a parcel was delivered to the office which contained clues to our new book. The children were all very excited when Mrs Fairweather brought a wheelbarrow into the classroom containing straw, sticks, bricks and a letter from a wolf! The children had some really good ideas about what we could build with the materials and which materials would be the strongest. After listening to everyone’s ideas they decided that the book must be The Three Little Pigs.
