05 Jun Nursery – Design Technology
Welcome back to the last half term of this academic year. In Nursery, we have started this week looking at our new unit – ‘Budding Builders’. We have turned our role play area into a construction site and we have spoken about what builders need to build things. The pupils have enjoyed wearing the high-vis jackets and hard hats; as well as having building challenges to complete. We have tried to build towers taller than our friends and teachers, without them falling down. In the provision, we have used bricks, Lego, magnetic shapes and wooden blocks to build different things, such as houses, towers and buildings. Later in the unit we will also look at how we can build a bridge.
