The children have been developing their knowledge and skills to present themselves both orally and in written form in Spanish, building on from previous learning and their growing bank of vocabulary. The children have focused on asking questions such as ¿Como te llamas? (What is your name?) ¿Cuántos años tienes? (How old are you?) as well as providing accurate replies, Me llamo Antonio. Tengo ocho años. (My name is Antonia. I am 8 years old.) They are demonstrating a growing understanding of grammar to manipulate language and have started to create sentences of their own using a range of emotive and personal responses.
