17 Oct Year 6 – Scientific Investigations
Following on from our visit to the Natural History Museum, the children have developed their understanding of adaptations with species. They observed how both animals and plants adapt to there environment for survival. They also learnt about variations between species and completed an investigation into the difference between a variety of sunflower seeds. They found that, although they are from the same species, they were different sizes, colour and thickness.
