06 Feb Year 6 – How can we make the world a better place?
Year 6 pupils showed just how powerful teamwork and compassion can be through their inspiring PSHE project, “Making a Difference for Others in the World.” Working collaboratively, the children identified changes they felt passionate about, carefully considering who their actions would impact and why these causes truly mattered—especially in supporting those most in need. Each group demonstrated excellent project management skills, assigning roles and responsibilities and planning clear steps to success. They explored how to raise awareness and identified critical funds needed to support their chosen causes, while grounding their ideas in real-world issues. The final outcomes were impressive: informative, eye-catching posters filled with powerful statistics, meaningful stories, and thoughtful images. These projects not only highlighted a need for change in our world, but also reflected the pupils’ empathy, maturity and determination to make the world a fairer place.
