13 Mar Year 6 – Art
In Art, Year 6 are creating an underwater scene using collage. They have been analysing different creative pieces using collage, identifying pictorial and abstract forms of collage and writing reflective responses to the artwork. They experimented with different materials to identify what elements will work to recreate an underwater scene based on our reading book, Flotsam.
In this lesson, they drew their scene using previous techniques learnt in art, they will then manipulate different materials to create texture based on what they have observed from different artists to create a detailed piece of artistic collage.
