30 Jan Year 6
Year Six have been learning about how to calculate the area of triangles and parallelograms in maths. We also started our learning on the volume of cuboids, which we learnt about through the use of manipulatives and pictorial representations. We formed our own cuboid structures using multilink cubes. We learnt that volume can be measured in and we found out that we needed to calculate it by multiplying length with width and height.
