26 Sep Year 5 – Trip to Eastbury Manor House
On Thursday, Year 5 travelled to Eastbury Manor House to consolidate on our learning on Tudors, in History. The children discovered the importance of Eastbury Manor House. We discovered how family life was in Tudor times. We looked at how the building differs from our own buildings today. Furthermore, we explored the house and gardens, handled replica objects, took part in role play and used costumes to find out about Tudor clothes. Overall, it was a fun and informative trip that we thoroughly enjoyed.
