27 Feb Year 5 – To Infinity and Beyond!
This week in Year 5, we kicked off our Space unit ‘To infinity and beyond’, by making planets and learning about the amazing Solar System. We learnt that the Solar System formed about 4.5–4.6 billion years ago and consists of the Sun, eight planets, dwarf planets, and countless, asteroids and comets. The Sun contains 99.8% of the system’s mass. We are looking forward to learning more about this fascinating unit of work!
