In Year 5, we have been learning about writing balanced arguments within discussions. This week, we chose a question to debate, ‘Should children travel to space?’ We then gathered all the supporting statements as well as all the opposing arguments. Using this, we have started writing our discussions to show both sides of the debate, thinking about how carefully chosen words have a greater impact.
