12 Dec Year 4 – Sewing Challenge!
In Design Technology this week, we have been busy sewing! Our first sewing challenge was threading our needles, which was quite tricky as it was hard to get the thread through the tiny eye of the needle. We learned how to do different types of stitches on fabric which were the: cross-stich, over-stich and running stitch. We then used these stitches to sew two pieces of fabric to create an applique!
