07 Nov Year 1
In our history lessons this week, the children have been learning about the significance of Remembrance Day. We had discussions and thought about the people and animals who sacrificed their lives to ensure we have a better future. We then explored the reason why we wear poppies and what they represent. The children then took time to create their own poppy which will be part of their wreath. This will be laid down during our Remembrance Service next week.
