On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day with costumes of our favourite book characters and lots of time to read for pleasure throughout the day. Children from the Meadow visited the school library and picked out books to read alone and with adults. The children joined their mainstream classes and parents came in and read a book to them. We also acted out some parts of our favourite stories.
