16 Jan Reception – Mr Gumpy’s Outing
In English Hedgehog Class have been reading ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’. Today we all worked together to produce a mixed media picture of Mr Gumpy’s river. First we printed the background with sponges. We then thought about how rivers flowed and moved and we painted wavy lines into the background. Finally we added texture by twisting crepe paper and silver foil to show how rivers shine and glisten in the sun. Hedgehog class showed real teamwork and cooperation when producing their picture.
