Reception visit to the Local Library
This week, the children enjoyed an exciting trip to Dagenham Library. They walked sensibly and safely, taking time to spot and talk about interesting features in the local area along the way. At the library, the children met the librarian, asked questions, took part in a book hunt and listened to different stories. We also learned that children can register for their very own library card and borrow up to 16 books at a time! The children were eager to borrow books, so we really encourage families to visit the library together and sign up to support a love of reading at home.
