05 Dec Reception – Fine Motor Skills
Fine Motor activities are especially important in Reception as they build fine motor skills, coordination and control that children need to grip a pencil and form letters correctly.
This week we have been peeling stickers and cutting out a Christmas tree. We have also been using our hands and tweezers to pick up spaghetti in the water tray. We had great fun using pipettes to squirt coloured water onto cotton wool baubles and we rolled and cut Christmas tree playdough.
