12 Dec Reception – Fine Motor Fun!
Fine Motor activities are especially important in Reception as they build small muscle strength, coordination and control that children need to grip a pencil and form letters correctly.
This week we have been making reindeers out of playdough, making small cuts in paper to make snowflakes, using tweezers to decorate a Christmas jumper and using pipettes to squirt vinegar onto bicarbonate of soda and make Christmas fizz. These activities will all help build that strength we need.
