21 Mar PSHE – Road Safety Assembly
This week, we were joined by Penny Taberman, the Accident Prevention Officer from the Local Authority
, who delivered an important road safety assembly. She spoke to the children about staying alert near roads, using crossings correctly, and making safe choices when walking or cycling. The pupils listened carefully and took part in discussions about how to keep themselves and others safe.
Penny’s visit reinforced key road safety messages, including the importance of wearing bright clothing in low light, avoiding distractions near roads and always stopping, looking and listening before crossing. A big thank you to Penny for sharing her expertise and helping our pupils become more aware of how to stay safe on their journeys
