05 Dec Nursery – Shape
This week in Maths we have been looking at different shapes: circle, rectangle, square and triangle. We have sung songs and named the shapes we can see in the environment around us. For example – we looked at the clock and recognised it as a circle and could see that the window was a rectangle. Then we have had fun doing some activities involving shapes; drawing around them and matching. We have also used elastic bands on pin boards to create shapes.
