27 Feb Nursery – Off We Go!
At the end of last half term, we were very excited to go on our first trip in Nursery. As our unit of work was called ‘Off We Go!’ and we were learning about vehicles, we had the opportunity to go on a train. We walked to Dagenham Heathway station, looking at the different vehicles we could see on the journey. We saw: vans, cars, motorbikes, bicycles and buses. When we arrived at the station, we went through the barrier and waited safely on the District Line Eastbound platform until our train arrived. Once it arrived, we went on, being careful to ‘mind the gap’ and sat down. On our trip, we discussed how the train was moving along the tracks.
