27 Nov Nursery – Numbers to 5
This week in Maths we have been looking at the numbers to 5. We started by recognising the numbers and have had numbers all around the environment, so we can become more familiar with them. In our key worker groups, we then looked at matching numbers to amounts by placing the correct number of objects on the number cards. We have the same number of dots on the cards to support us if needed. As you can see, we have also had different activities set up in the provision, such as placing the correct number of insects in the frog’s mouth and fishing with numbered fish.
