13 Nov Nursery – Naming Animals
As part of our new unit, we have been looking at animals in Science and answering the ‘Big Question: Can we name and describe animals?’ In our environment we have been able to look at toy animals and have watched different videos to help us. But we were very lucky that last week we had some real animals from Wellgate Community Farm come to visit us in school. This meant we could get up close and personal with the animals, stroking them and hearing the sounds that they make. It was the first time some of us had ever done this, so was a memorable experience for us all!
