20 Mar Nursery – Life Cycle of a Caterpillar
This week in Science we have been looking at our Big Question – ‘Can we sequence the life cycle of a caterpillar.’ We are very lucky to have caterpillars at the moment in the Nursery and we are looking forward to them turning into butterflies. Currently they are in the cocoon stage of the life cycle. In the provision we have learnt about the different stages of the life cycle: laying of the eggs; turning into a caterpillar; making a cocoon and then finally becoming a butterfly. It has stemmed our curiosity of animals and how they change.
