Primary Music Festival and Rocksteady Concert
Our end-of-term music concert was a truly uplifting celebration of dedication, talent and the power of music within our school community. Every pupil involved gave their all and it was a joy to see their hard work come to life.
We hosted another exceptional Primary Music Festival, where our school choir were exceptional, not only in their performance but in their professionalism throughout the event. They warmly welcomed visiting schools, showing confidence and maturity beyond their years. It was especially inspiring to hear them exchange thoughtful reflections on how music makes them feel, demonstrating a deep connection to their craft and to one another. Our Rocksteady bands also deserve the highest praise! Each group performed with remarkable musical tenacity, embracing the challenge of playing in front of a packed live audience. Their energy, teamwork and passion created an electric atmosphere that had everyone engaged and cheering. Miss Peters and our Rocksteady Coach Josiah were incredibly proud of all the pupils, particularly in how confidently they remembered everything they had practised. Their commitment and focus were evident in every moment of the performance and it was clear just how much effort had gone into preparing for this special occasion.
Music continues to have a profoundly positive impact on every pupil involved. It builds confidence, encourages collaboration and provides a powerful outlet for expression. Events like this remind us just how important the arts are in shaping well-rounded, inspired young people.
We are already looking forward with excitement to our next musical showcase at the end of the academic year, where we know our pupils will once again rise to the occasion and shine.
