21 Jun Year 6 – Residential
Year 6 had a wonderful time on their residential trip to Kingswood. We were so very impressed with their excellent behaviour and the way in which they participated in all of the activities – they were a credit to our school. We climbed high ropes, built rafts, abseiled and took part in nightline (a blindfolded assault course). We also participated in a mini olympics, orienteering, played volleyball, sang and told jokes around the campfire. Meanwhile, the rest of year 6, who were in school, took part in various art projects including a totem pole competition. The children decorated cardboard boxes with totem inspired features. They thoroughly enjoyed being creative in different settings like our school garden!
