20 Sep Year 6
We have had two wonderful outside educational experiences in Year 6 over the past week. We participated in an online art lesson, delivered by the National Gallery, where we developed our drawing skills and created our own mythical creatures. We also visited the Natural History Museum to further our knowledge of evolution and see first-hand some of the fossils discovered by Mary Anning, whom we have learned about in science lessons. We took part in a workshop, where we took on the role of paleontologists, excavating fossilised dinosaur skulls. The children were extremely well-behaved and we are very proud of them.
