11 Oct Year 4 – Digestion
In Year 4, the children have been learning about teeth and digestion. An investigation the children carried out was to find out which drink caused the most damage to our teeth. They did this by using eggs (the shells represented the teeth) and placing these into different drinks.
Another experiment they carried out was to see how food goes through the stomach and intestine before it comes out as waste. The children learned how the body absorbs all the nutrition and liquid in the process.
