Year 4 – Ancient Greece Workshop

Year 4 enjoyed a day full of Greek stories, games and drama. To introduce the topic, ‘It’s all Greek to me!’, a visitor from Portals to the Past was invited to educate (and entertain) the children about the many fascinating events that took place during the time of the Ancient Greeks.

Children learnt about popular figures such as Alexander the Great and discussed important issues such as democracy and law. Children also participated in role play, through which they learnt many mythological and historic stories.  We all had an incredible day!
