Year 3 – History

On Monday, Year 3 visited the British Museum to further their learning about the Ancient Egyptians.  They saw a variety of highly decorated sarcophagus as well as examples of mummified bodies.  They learned about the clothing and jewellery the Ancient Egyptians would have worn, as well as seeing different artefacts from the Ancient Egyptian period in real life. The children enjoyed the day and were able to talk about their visit in school.
