16 Feb Year 2 – Music
In Year 2 this half term we have been listening to different pieces of Rock music. Our favourite song has been ‘We Will Rock You’ by Queen, which we have enjoyed singing along to. We have identified the different instruments that we can hear play in each song and have learnt some new vocabulary: verse, chorus, rhythm, instrumental and solo.
We have also learnt our own song called ‘I Wanna Play in a Rock Band’, where we have added dance moves and have even added in glockenspiels as an accompaniment.
