17 May Year 1 – Talk 4 Writing
This week in our Talk 4 Writing lessons, we have started a new unit based on the book ‘The Big Blue Whale’. We went into the playground and measured the length of a blue whale to see how long it is. We then stretched ourselves out in a line to see how many of us it would take to make a blue whale. We needed 34 children! After this, we found out what the skin of a blue whale would feel like by touching a hard-boiled egg in water. It felt springy and rubbery!
