11 Nov Year 1 – Remembrance
As part of our history unit this term, Year 1 have been learning about significant events from beyond living memory and how these events are remembered. We have learned about World War One and how poppies are used as a symbol of remembrance.
We visited out local war memorial and held a minute’s silence to show our respect.
