17 Jan Year 1- Handa’s Surprise!
As an entry point to our new text for this half-term, ‘Handa’s Surprise’, we went on a journey around the school to find Miss Rehling’s missing fruit! We searched in the garden, under the oak tree, in the Main Hall and the Computing Suite. We found a yellow melon, a spiky leaved pineapple, a tiny pear and some juicy, green grapes. We then wrote about our journey, using time conjunctions and adjectives in our writing.
