Dear Parents/Carers,
Spring Term 2026 Newsletter
Dear Parents and Carers,
Careers Week
This year we will be holding Careers Week from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th February 2026. Throughout the week we will be inviting guest speakers to talk to the children about their profession. We will be inspiring the children to think about careers they might like to explore when they are older. Our third House Challenge of the year will be Friday 6th February when each teacher will lead a career focused workshop that is aspirational and inspirational.
If you are able to come into school and talk to the children about your own professional career please do see a member of the office staff.
Curriculum Entry Points
To launch our learning each half term our curriculum includes an entry point. This allows the pupils to be immersed into their new learning. Our pupils have been engaged with their entry points over the past week. These have included mystery sensory challenges, an African workshop, food tasting and a Parsloes Olympics. See the posts below for more photos!

Safer Internet Day
UK Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 10th February. Safer Internet Day exists to help young people use the internet confidently, responsibly and safely. At it’s heart, Safer Internet Day is about preparing pupils for their digital world they are growing up in – helping them enjoy technology while staying safe, confident and informed. The theme this year is smart tech, safe choices – the advance of AI. The children will be introduced to the theme during that week’s assembly.
For online parental support and guidance please refer to the Safeguarding area of the website.
