Happy New Year!
Welcome back to our pupils and families and a very Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a restful and happy break. The children have returned full of energy and are ready for their new learning. They were excited to see their teachers and friends. This week we have started our new themes for the Spring term. See below for more information.

New Staff
We welcome two new permanent members of staff this term. Mrs Towse joins us in Reception and Mrs Warder joins us in the ARP. Both are highly experienced and have been working at other local authority schools until now. Please join me in welcoming them to Parsloes!
Parent information events
It was lovely to see so many parents and carers at our information events this week. Information was shared about Year 6 SATS tests, Year 4 Multiplication Table Check and Year 1 Phonics Screening Checks. If you require any further information please see your child’s class teacher.
Tea and Coffee morning – Time to Talk
Our theme for next week, Wednesday 14th January is Speech and Language in the Early Years. Please come along if you have a pupil in Nursery or Reception or a child that is due to start in the next year or so. We look forward to seeing you there. Please enter via the black gate in the KS2 playground at 9am.

Look at my learning will take place this term on Friday 13th February from 2.45 until 3pm. We look forward to seeing you then.
Support for our families
We understand that these are challenging financial times for our families. Please remember that we may be able to offer support in a range of ways including access to food banks, uniform assistance, support with access to extra curricular clubs and school trips. If you are finding things difficult please come along to speak to us in confidence, we are here to help.

If you have any uniform donations please drop off to the school office. All donations gratefully received.
