Dear Parents/Carers,
Autumn Term 2025 Newsletter – Edition 67
Dear Parents and Carers,
Reading for Pleasure:
Visit to Foyles Bookshop London

This week some of our pupil leaders had the opportunity to visit Foyles bookshop in London for a self-guided tour. They were tasked with reviewing how books in the bookshop entice people to want to read them. They went on to review how we could develop our reading areas at school to be even more inviting. The children returned enthused and fed back their findings in assembly this week.
Book Fair
Reading is the most important skill your child needs to master. Reading ensures we have opportunities to learn in any subject. We invite you to come along to school to take a look at the wide range of books that will be on offer that you can purchase for your child. Please see the letter below for more information.

Family Hubs – Speech and Language

They can support with many areas such as parenting skills, speech and language, toilet training etc. Please see below for October’s Speech, Language and Communication Top Tip on using gestures to support the understanding of language with young children. Our school family navigator will be visiting the school during parents evening on 23rd October, if you would like to meet them in person.
