Dear Parents and Carers,
Reception Reading Information
As you will be aware we are a Little Wandle Champion School. Reading is a priority at Parsloes and your child will have started this journey in our Nursery. On Tuesday 23rd September all Reception parents are invited to come into school at 2.40pm to find out more about how we teach early reading at Parsloes Primary School. Please refer to the letter you received via Parent Mail for more information.
National Gallery – Year 3 trip
Our Curriculum ensures that pupils have empowering experiences throughout the year. An important part includes school trips. It was the turn of Year 3 pupils this week who visited the National Gallery. In Art the children will be painting and exploring the works of Henri Rousseau so this was the perfect trip to get the children engaged and excited about their learning.
