Dear Parents/Carers,
Spring Term 2025 Newsletter – Edition 50
Dear Parents and Carers,
Happy Easter!
Well it has been an incredibly busy term of learning, including multiple entry and exits points, school trips, house challenges, world book day and a visit from Wellgate Farm. Thank you for the continued support of all our parents, carers and families. We are very proud of our pupils and the school but could not do the wonderful work without your continued support. Wishing you a wonderful Easter break and a reminder that we return to school on Tuesday 22nd April at the usual times. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
House Challenge
Last week we held our ‘Heritage House Challenge’. In houses, lessons included learning about our cultural heritage and speaking in and listening to the rich variety of languages we have at our school, recreating flags and making traditional food dishes. We shared our learning with our classes.
Wellgate Farm Visits Parsloes!

What a wonderful day we had yesterday when the farm came to visit. Nursery, Reception and Year 1 have been learning about animals as part of their curriculum themes this term but many other children got to see the animals as well. If you do get a chance please do visit the farm which is located in Collier Row. It is free so go along and enjoy petting the animals! The highlight was watching the goats and sheep making their way along the corridor to get to the middle garden area. They were all awarded house points for great walking!
Parents Evening
It was lovely to see so many of our parents and carers at our Spring term parents evening. If you did not manage to get an appointment please do ensure you see your child’s class teacher and they will aim to see you after Easter. Teacher, parent consultations events are such an important part of us being able to work with you to ensure your child’s makes the best possible progress. Next term we will host a book look when you be able to come along to see your child’s work. Please save the date – Book look Friday 23rd May 2.45pm. Nursery book look will be at a different time – more details to follow.
