Dear Parents/Carers,
Autumn Term 2024 Newsletter – Edition 38
Dear Parents and Carers,
Merry Christmas to our pupils, families and friends of Parsloes!
We come to the end of a fantastic Autumn term. Our pupils have worked very hard in lessons to ensure they make good progress and have been great ambassadors for the school when they have been out in the community. It was a pleasure to see all our parents at parents evenings last week and hear your very positive feedback about the school.
Some of the highlights from this term include our entry and exit points, parent workshops, book looks, local and London school trips, work within the community, hosting the Ganda Boys concert at our school and our end of term performances.
Our school prides itself on an ambitious and challenging curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils.
Thank you too to our School Governing Body for their continued support and dedication.
Parent Survey – let us know your thoughts!
We will be sending our annual parent survey to capture the thoughts of our parents and carers. Please check your Parent Mail today for the form.
Thank you!
Christmas Nativity Plays
This week the pupils from Nursery to Year 2 shared the Christmas story with family and friends. The children have worked very hard to learn a wide range of songs and words. Thank you for all your kind words of support. Well done to everyone and a special thank you to all the teachers who have made the performances possible.
Christmas Parties – Reception to Year 6
Our Christmas parties took place after school this week. The children had fun playing party games, dancing and enjoying a treat. Thank you to everyone who supported the school. We raised over £500 for school resources.
Staff Panto
This week our children were entertained by school staff performing the Pantomime Cinderella. The children were able to join in with the show with full audience participation. A great fun time was had by all.
Musician of the Week
Every week, we learn about a different musician in school, from different time periods, cultures and styles of music. After Christmas we will be enjoying the songs of Reggae star, Jimmy Cliff.

Please remember if you need any uniform for your child that is second hand but in good condition please come along to the main office and we will support you.
